Worse Property Management on the coast been living with mould and broken things in the house for seven months paying $1100 a week rent. All they want to do is inspect the property take photos and do nothing about it multiple inspections multiple times having to take off work to let people in, Them going through your cupboards and commenting on your personal stuff. Our experience renting through SCPR was stressful and horrible. We have never had any issues renting in the past and in our current tenancy. We have always received great references from our landlords and property managers. Throughout our tenancy there were serious breaches of the tenancy agreement by the landlord: smoke alarms had expired 2 years passed their used by date, front and back doors did not lock, air conditioning took 4 months to get fixed, blinds had not been installed correctly, one fan had fallen from the ceiling in the spare bedroom, landlord entry without notice and left a note on our kitchen bench, wardrobes had not been installed correctly and one door had completely come off. Yes we broke the lease half way through, main reason we had to break the lease was that my partner got transferred to another city for work which we could not control. SCPR did not make an effort to limit or mitigate costs associated with breaking the lease (which is the law). At the end of our tenancy SCPR tried to charge us for petty “damages” we did not do (e.g. vines growing through fence from neighbours property, items in the shed (which were the landlords) and council bins not empty (despite being out the front for pick up) and overcharge us for multiple services (e.g. a recycled sign board advertising property for rent $165). After SCPR took us to court, we were able to prove that we left the property in better condition that when we entered. Claims and potential contractor invoices were withdrawn. Prior to court we attempted to negotiate, unfortunately SCPR were not willing to negotiate and tried charging us $336 for court filing costs. These costs were removed immediately with the magistrate chastising SCPR for trying to rip us off. In the end we got $1095.44 of our bond back which we were happy with. Prior to the dispute, we were told we weren’t going to get any of it back and actually owed money to pay for contractor invoices. Whilst relocating and both my partner and I starting new jobs, we found this process extremely stressful. For our friends and family on the sunny coast we always recommend that they don’t use SCPR.
I have been a plumber for many years with SCPR, during this time I have found them to be very professional through and friendly , I highly recommend this realestate for tenants and property owners.

The house flooded with our sewerage from the ORG being covered up by an unapproved decking
At the time of the floods, the real estate stipulated no trades could be called to the property. As tenants,we had to locate trades and attend to cleaning of the property. What followed was a house that was almost unliveable with the real estate not carrying out any works to rectify the house for almost a year. We terminated the lease in term due to the numerous breaches of the real estate under the tenancy act.
My advice, if you care about your house and want a property rental service to take care of your property. DO NOT use this service.
Future tenants, do not go through this real estate. The are not good people
